Signing up for EqualiTeas

What do I have to do to host an EqualiTeas?

Just sign up and we’ll email you a free host pack for you to download for your EqualiTeas.

How do I host an EqualiTeas?

EqualiTeas is all about cake, a cuppa, and a slice of debate. There’s lots of ideas in your host pack, so you can open it and go! If you need more inspiration, there’s more resources on our website.

How many people can take part in my EqualiTeas?

As many as you like. It can be big or small!

When should I host my EqualiTeas?

Your EqualiTeas can take place at any time, but we are celebrating The Representation of the People (Equal Franchise) Act 1928 on the 2 July.

Will my MP come to my EqualiTeas?

When you sign up, we will ask you if you’d like us to let your MP know you’re taking part. Your MP might get in touch or ask if they can come along. But remember that UK Parliament is very busy so they won’t be able to come to every EqualiTeas.

If you live in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland you may want to invite your MSP, AM, or MLA.

Will other people be able to see details of my EqualiTea’s event?

Nope, you can sign up any time.

What’s in my host pack?

Your digital host pack includes a recipe, bunting, cake flags, debate cards and a poster.

When will I get my host pack?

After you sign up we will send you a digital host pack for you to download and print off the resources.

How much does it cost?

It’s free. All you need to do is sign up!

Will I get anything in the post?

No, this year EqualiTeas is all digital.
